Chamber Band Legacy Endowment Fund
The purpose of this endowment is to provide opportunities for funds to purchase instruments for drum line and/or band, additional staffing for drum line and enrichment for students who show interest and potential. Additional purposes include study opportunities, private percussion lessons, college scholarships, band trip scholarships and uniforms.
Applicant Eligibility & TERMS
Who May Apply: White Bear Lake Area School District Band staff members.
Award Range: Applications will be reviewed on a continual basis throughout the school year. Projects will be funded for twelve months. After twelve months, any unexpended funds will revert to the White Bear Lake Area Educational Foundation (WBLAEF).
Selection Process: The White Bear Lake Area Educational Foundation’s Executive Board will review the Chamber Band Legacy Endowment Fund applications and make recommendations to the WBLAEF Board of Directors for approval.
Terms:
Expenses are reimbursed after submitting a reimbursement form with original receipts to the WBLAEF office. CLICK HERE to submit the reimbursement request.
Evaluation: A written results-based evaluation of the project or a 3 to 5 minute presentation to the Foundation Board is required within two months of the project’s completion. Evaluations or presentations must be submitted or arranged with the WBLAEF office. CLICK HERE to submit the evaluation.
